Hydra Facial Keratin

Keratin is a structural protein found in our hair, skin, and nails. It’s also commonly found in styling products to help strengthen hair—but the term keratin treatment is actually a misnomer.

“Keratin treatments are semi-permanent hair straightening treatments that smooth and add shine to frizzy hair,” says Dr Simrat Sandhu. How the treatments work is not through the use of keratin, though. To make hair straighter, a solution containing a formaldehyde derivative or (the much safer) glyoxylic acid is worked through the hair to break the bonds and reseal them in a straighter position. The solution is then blow-dried and sealed with a flat iron, and the results can last anywhere from three to six months. According to Dr Simrat Sandhu, the treatments work well on most hair types, and she recommends it for anyone who wants to reduce frizz, boost shine, or cut out blow-drying or straightening their hair on a regular basis.

The treatment’s benefits may make hair seem to grow more quickly, but it’s really all about strengthening the hair. “Keratin helps to add shine, reduce frizz, and reduce the appearance of split ends by temporarily bonding the hair back together,” explains Dr Simrat Sandhu. All of these effects can help strands look and feel longer and stronger, “but they are ultimately growing at the same rate,” she says.

HIFU Treatment for Face

High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is a relatively new cosmetic treatment for skin tightening that some consider a noninvasive and painless replacement for face lifts. It uses ultrasound energy to encourage the production of collagen, which results in firmer skin.

HIFU is most widely known for its use in treating tumours. The first reported use of HIFU for aesthetic use was in 2008

HIFU was then approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2009 for brow lifts. The device was also cleared by the FDA in 2014 to improve lines and wrinkles of the upper chest and neckline (décolletage).

Several small clinical trials have found HIFU to be safe and effective for facial lifting and refining wrinkles. People were able to see results in a few months after treatment, without the risks associated with surgery.

These are considered “off-label” uses for HIFU, meaning the FDA has yet to approve HIFU for these purposes.

HIFU treatment has been found to be a promising treatment that could replace face lifts, especially in younger people who don’t want the risks and recovery time associated with surgery.

Carbon Peel Facial

The Laser Carbon Peel is a fast and painless procedure done to help improve the look of skin.

It’s used primarily by people with oily skin, acne, and enlarged or clogged pores. This treatment is also beneficial if you’re starting to see the effects of sun damage to your skin.

Fractional Laser

Everyone dreams about nourished skin tone and wants it forever. The fractional laser also known as fractional laser resurfacing is an anti-aging treatment. This consists of multiple laser sessions which take care of wrinkles, fine lines in the skin, age spots, uneven skin tone and other skin damages. The skin problems start getting vanished with successive laser sessions. This is a non-invasive treatment where a laser beam is divided and delivered into thousands of microscopic zones of the target skin. The laser beams vaporise the microscopic zones leaving behind untreated tissues in the surrounding. New collagen is then created through natural healing which will replace the affected tissues. The affected tissues are replaced with new collagen and skin texture and softness starts improving with healing. These laser beams can activate collagen production, which is the main factor behind the elasticity and smoothness of the skin thus preserving the youth after the thirties. Fractional laser treatments have overcome the shortcomings of ablative and non-ablative laser treatment, which treats skin damages due to sunburns. Reliant Technologies was the first to introduce the fractional laser device which used a non-ablative beam of 1550-nm wavelength.

Stretch marks treatments

What does a stretch mark exactly mean?
When our skin expands or contracts rapidly, a specific type of scar called a stretch mark is created. Collagen & elastin, which sustain our skin, tear from the sudden change. Stretch marks could develop while the skin recovers.

These fine bands on the skin don’t appear on everyone. Hormone fluctuations occur to be a factor. Your risk may also be elevated if you have a family history of stretch marks.

Stretch marks are more likely to appear at the following times:

  • Puberty-related growth spurts
  • Pregnancy
  • extreme weight loss or increase
  • weight training while your muscles are rapidly growing
